ANPR México Hosts Annual Parktour in Washington, D.C.

In July, ANPR México had the honor of organizing a new edition of Parktour, their annual event designed to strengthen learning and foster reflection on park management, drawing inspiration from park systems in the United States.

This year, Washington, D.C. served as the host city, and they had the privilege of being welcomed by three exemplary institutions: DC Parks and Recreation, National Park Service, and Downtown DC BID.

Throughout the program, participants explored innovative approaches to public space planning, community engagement, and sustainable management. The sessions provided valuable insights that will help guide park development and operations back in Mexico.

We were also delighted to have HPPR President Edwin Rivera join the group, creating opportunities for meaningful connection and dialogue with participants. His presence added a special dimension to the exchange, fostering collaboration and shared vision for the future of parks.

Parktour 2025 continues our tradition of bringing together leaders, professionals, and advocates to exchange knowledge and strengthen networks—helping us build greener, more inclusive, and better-managed parks for all.
